Metropolitan Restaurant Group operates a number of Italian restaurants within Central London.
For three years sts-solutions successfully developed a food safety and health and safety culture within the organisation, developing and implementing comprehensive company documentation.
In 2001, as part of a cost cutting exercise, the Group made the decision to change to a smaller consultancy. This proved to be a costly decision, when the consultancy failed to provide the support they required when one of their restaurants came under pressure from the Environmental Health Officer.
In 2003 Metropolitan Restaurant Group reappointed sts-solutions as their consultants.
Initial work was a complete update of their documentation and a refresher session with restaurant managers and senior management to refocus their effort on food safety and health and safety.

In addition sts-solutions tutored food hygiene training courses, which were translated into Italian.
Regular six monthly audits and meetings with senior management are now in place, and the restaurants are working toward achieving standards of excellence, with the firm support of sts-solutions.
