This new qualification develops practical training skills necessary to deliver CIEH courses which do not receive public funding –for example in the workplace.
|
This course is ideal for first-time trainers who need to understand the basics of training skills or those looking to refine their existing techniques.
|
The course covers the following subjects:
- The tutor’s roles and responsibilities in relation to training;
- Training and learning methods appropriate to specialist subjects;
- Understand the importance of session plans in the delivery of training;
- How to deliver inclusive sessions that motivate the learner;
- The use of different assessment methods and the need for record keeping.
|
The learner will be assessed on a micro-teach session at the end of the course and successful students will receive a level 3 award in training skills in practice.
|
By the end of the course the learner will be able to demonstrate knowledge and practical skills in the following areas: initial assessment, planning, preparation, training delivery, assessment and evaluation.
