Bakers warned on asthma problems
Bakers have been warned to take better precautions in the workplace after research revealed that they are 80 times more likely to suffer from asthma than the average Brit. The HSE used World Asthma Day on May 5th to highlight the problems that arise when workers are exposed to flour and other bakery dust and to introduce a new publication giving advice on sensible precautions to taken when working in dusty atmospheres.
