Management of Supplier Assessment programmes
STS support various commercial organisations by assessing the food safety standards of their suppliers.
By working with STS, we can ensure that you have simple yet robust systems in place to help ensure the food you are supplied with is safe.
Our supplier assessment service can include the investigation of supplier related food complaints.
Food Safety Certification for suppliers
Food manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers gain from achieving STS certification, which is an established and widely recognised food safety certification system throughout the UK and Europe. Many suppliers have utilised the STS assessment as a first step towards achieving assessment to the Public Sector Code of practice or BRC.
In order to achieve STS Certification, STS audit against the STS Code of Practice, and, if compliance is demonstrated, Certification is awarded.
The STS Code of Practice identifies robust yet achieveable food safety standards and quality management systems, for the safe production and/or distribution of food.
