Support, Training & Services PLC are able to offer food supplier assessment to our own standard which is very useful for food suppliers contemptating future supply for one of our clients or looking to achieve third party assessment.

STS can also offer pre-audit assessments for companies wishing to identify what needs to be rectified prior to a formal audit. These audits, although following the standard audit procedure, provide the supplier with detailed guidance on work required, the auditor assisting with suggestions for rectifying any issues where appropriate.

The audit standard is very similar to the BRC Global Standard - Food and the NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency Standard. The audit is normally of one day duration.

Food suppliers undertaking the STS assessment cannot be listed for supply to the NHS (see NHS supplier assessment for further details on such assessments)
